Leadership

Rabbi Shaul Rosenblatt
Founder & CEO
Rabbi Shaul Rosenblatt established the academy following many years of involvement in Jewish education and outreach.
Originally from Liverpool, he studied for several years in Jerusalem and received rabbinic ordination there.
Over the past three decades, he has founded and led a number of initiatives, including Aish UK and later Tikun, each centred on making Jewish teaching accessible and relevant in contemporary settings.
Alongside his communal work, he is also a published author, writing on themes of resilience, faith, and personal growth.
In recent years, his focus has increasingly been on developing rabbinic leadership itself—working closely with individuals at the point where study transitions into responsibility.
The academy reflects this shift: a more measured, mentorship-led approach to preparing rabbis for the realities they will face.

Rabbi Chaim Rapoport
Rosh Kollel
The learning programme is led by Rabbi Chaim Rapoport, a senior rabbinic figure with extensive experience in both scholarship and communal leadership.
Born in Manchester, he studied in leading yeshivot in the UK, Israel, and the United States, before going on to serve in a range of rabbinic roles.
His career has included:
- Leading communities in London and Birmingham
- Chairing the Birmingham Rabbinic Board
- Serving as an advisor to the Chief Rabbi on matters of Jewish Medical Ethics
He is also widely recognised as a lecturer and author, engaging with complex areas of Jewish law and contemporary life.
Within the academy, his role centres on guiding the intellectual and halachic development of participants, while encouraging careful, independent thinking within the framework of tradition.

Chana Rosenblatt
Wellbeing and Women’s Director
Chana is originally from Israel and moved to the UK in 2001 when she married her husband Shaul. Together they are blessed with nine beautiful children and ten grandchildren.
Chana’s main work is as an educator teaching the Three Principles Understanding. She originally trained in Adlerian family counselling before coming across the Three Principles in 2011. Seeing this approach as revolutionary, she turned her focus in this direction completely. She graduated from the One Thought Professional Institute in 2012 and was a faculty member from 2013 – 2019. Chana has been mentored by many of Sydney Banks’s students, including Dr George and Linda Pransky, Dr Mark Howard, Miss Beverley Wilson Hayes, Dr Bill Pettit and Elsie Spittle. Currently, Chana is the Director of CR Practice where she works with different sectors of the community including youth, students, educators, trainee practitioners, individuals, couples, parents and families.
Chana’s role at the RTA is twofold. Firstly, she trains participants in the Three Principles Understanding, helping support their own wellbeing and resilience as well as giving them an understanding that they can take into their roles in the community. She is also Director of the women’s programme serving as an educator, guide and role model for the rebbetzens.
